Early Warning Earthquake and Disaster System
Smoothweb was tasked to work with NRAD to develop an ultra fast solution to relay news and content in the event of a national emergency in Japan. The successful pilot scheme demonstrated the capability to relay news feeds and video information to a relay of dispersed information locations with ultra low latency and to display this at centres on touch displays and in public places in multiple devices and form factors. This project was deployed in a very short timeframe as the SmoothWeb CMS is capable of building highly responsive and flexible content delivery frameworks without the need for large scale software development time frames.
