One Degree Media Launches uStar.jp Beta Site

One Degree Media K.K., incorporated to develop and operate several social networking sites in Japan, today announced the beta launch of its flagship site, uStar.jp, built using SmoothWeb. uStar is a Social Network Service usable worldwide via the PC-web and, additionally, via all web-enabled mobile phones in Japan.

Using uStar, visitors can become members, start communities, register events, blog, and upload video, audio, and still images to be viewed by visitors, and ca protect their privacy by controlling the visibility of their profile, blog, and other content.
